Register now for our next Faith & Life Gatherings
— May 6 & 7, 2020!

Faith and Life Commission started a series on identity in November 2019.  Reflecting on our identities as pastors, the things that seem easy and difficult to discuss, as well as the things our congregations work through in their daily lives, we have decided on the following schedule for 2020:

February: Sexual and Gender Identities
May: National and Political Identities
August: Socioeconomic Status
November: Age and Pastoral Identity Throughout Life

Our May gatherings will focus on national and political identities. In each of our contexts we may find that we share the convictions and perspectives of our congregations, or that there are differences in these perspectives. How do we navigate these waters and lead our congregations in these times of great emotion? As a backdrop to our conversations we will look at Scripture, Confession of Faith Article 23 – Nation, Government, and Society, and Mennonite World Conference Shared Conviction #7. Join us as together we wrestle with what it means to have an Anabaptist witness in these days.

Our May gatherings are Wednesday, May 6 – 9:00-11:00 am and Thursday, May 7 – 7:00-9:00 pm AND BOTH SESSIONS WILL BE HELD BY ZOOM.
