The event took place north of Ho Chi Minh City, at the Evangelical Mennonite Church, a congregation not officially registered in Vietnam. This past week, members of that church arrived as refugees in Allentown. Read more….

There wasn’t a burning bush

by Krista Showalter Ehst, Alpha Mennonite Church

I, on the other hand, grew up wanting—at different points but with equal fervor—to be a veterinarian, author, and Broadway star. Read more….

FYI

Thanks, Carla!

After five years of working with Franconia Conference, Carla Ferrier finishes up her work as office manager Friday.   For many of you she’s been the face and voice of the Conference, but she’s also been behind the keyboard often sending weekly emails, keeping track of conference pastors and delegates, logistics for Conference Assembly and conference meetings.   Her hospitable, prayerful and pastoral presence will be missed.   She’ll begin her new position working as office manager at Line Lexington Mennonite Church next week.    Over the next weeks, Kristine McClain will be temporarily providing office management and staffing at the Mennonite Conference Center, with other existing staff filling in as needed.
