Leading God-Centered Decision-Making
Do you wish your congregation could make significant decisions with less conflict, more certainty, and a sense of God’s presence in your midst? On September 9, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Swamp Mennonite Church in Quakertown (map), “Leading God-Centered Decision-Making,” will help church leadership teams assist their congregations in making significant decisions with less conflict, more certainty, and a sense of God’s presence in their midst.
Facilitator Sherill Hostetter will give input on cultural differences in decision-making and conflictual issues, and guidelines for planning a decision-making process, along with some tools that may be helpful. Participants will also engage in an actual discernment meeting.
Sherill has an extensive background in assisting individuals, leaders and congregations with conflict resolution, managing change, re-envisioning mission, understanding and embracing diversity, and spiritual discernment processes.
Congregations are encouraged to bring their entire leadership teams. Free, including lunch and snacks; RSVP by August 26.
