The August Mennonite Central Committee Material Resource Project is School Kits. August brings the time for shopping for school supplies. This month, Mennonite Central Committee is asking if you will consider purchasing supplies for MCC School Kits. MCC sends school kits to places including Iraq, Nicaragua, Afghanistan, and to poorly funded schools in Canada and the United States. One place that is using them is the Oxford Circle Christian Community Development Association in Northeast Philadelphia. Kits were given out at their Community Festival to children who may not otherwise have the materials they need to be successful in school. Efforts like this would not be possible without assistance from you and others. MCC East Coast is blessed to have such dedicated supporters and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. May you find blessing as you gather these materials.
