IVEP Participants 2014

New IVEP participants join area ministries

This fall, four young adults from around the globe will use their gifts and time to support various area ministries. All four are participants in Mennonite Central Committee’s International Volunteer Exchange Program, a year-long exchange that brings Christian young adults to the United States and Canada. Registration is now open for Mennonite World Conference Pennsylvania 2015Nearly 10,000 Anabaptists from around the world will converge on Harrisburg, PA, in July of 2015 for Mennonite World Conference’s global assembly. The gathering will include worship, speakers, small group discussion, tours, sports, service projects, international music, and more. Volunteers are needed (and receive discounts on registration) and prayers are appreciated!

Job opening on Franconia Conference StaffFranconia Conference seeks a ministry-oriented full-time Administrative Coordinator (and/or short-term, part-time interim coverage). Must be able to work independently, be highly organized and detail-oriented, possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to represent and contribute to the mission and ministry of Franconia Conference in a friendly and professional manner. Computer proficiency (i.e. Word, Outlook, Excel) and an ability to meet deadlines in a flexible and adaptive environment is a must. Position involves front office coverage with a significant event planning component. Starting salary range–$26,000 to $30,000 a year.
